Campaigning to curb supermarket power



Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire

Sainsbury’s wants to build a store of 25,000 square feet in Llandeilo. Local residents and shops fear the planned new store will kill off the smaller competition and have formed a campaign group "Save Llandeilo's Future".  Campaigners are demanding that the county council protects Llandeilo as an important gateway to the Tywi Valley.
