Campaigning to curb supermarket power

Narberth is a small "market town" in Pembrokeshire prized for its independent shops. Currently, all shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs in the town centre are independently owned and run. The town is labelled a 'boutique town', and we have built up a very good reputation for shopping and food. We have become a destination rather than a drive through town to Tenby, and attract shoppers from Cardiff, Manchester, London et c.

Narberth Old School site is for sale and is currently in the process of being sold. We understand the site will have seven retail units which will be leased out. The biggest is set to be a Sainsbury's Local.
